I haven't been around the blogosphere today because I took my wife in for some minor surgery. She had her right knee replaced in mid-November and for a time things looked good. Then they seemed to plateau, and it felt that something was 'catching'. Eventually her knee felt just as bad as before her surgery. Her doc couldn't see anything wrong on X-rays so he scheduled her in for arthroscopy today. By drilling a tiny hole in, he was able to have a close look. He found some scar tissue between her lower leg's bones and snipped that off. Sue can move across with her crutches and it doesn't hurt too much. Hopefully this will do the trick because, to say the least, the idea of her going thru knee replacement all over again is an extremely unappealing idea, and not just because the maker of the prosthesis has the same name as the bad guy who gave Wolverine his adamantium skeleton.
