the comfy chair

On November 11, I posted about how my home office's chair was too low for my desk. I had compensated for it by adding cushions, but even then it never was comfortable. I couldn't find office chairs that could go higher, a state that had me rending my garments in despair until Julia_here suggested looking up draftsman chairs. Mine arrived from Dick Blick Art Materials on Thursday. I put it together fairly quickly on Friday, without needing to utter a single word of harsh language at the incompetence of people who write assembly instructions. And I tried it on. Not only can it go even higher than I need, but it's comfortable. For example, my lower back rests just right against its support. What an excellent idea that was, Julia_here! I love this chair.
