ablutions

Last week, on Wednesday, the men's room on our floor was sealed off with don't-get-in tape. That meant our having to go to another part of the building for our ablutions. This Monday, the room was still condemned, and still without anybody ever being seen taking care of whatever the issue might be. I wrote to someone I know who works in the building's maintenance dept. A very few hours later, the men's room was suddenly back in business. I have this nagging suspicion that they had forgotten about the problem.

It just goes to show that sometimes the wheel that squeaks does get the grease.
