My wife has two novellas coming out in anthologies in January, and one novel in early March, so I've been working offline on her site's code all evening. Tired. A good kind of tired. Still, time to go to bed.

Shy?

There's this project here at the office that had been on hold for a few weeks because the other group wasn't able to provide a test file. They finally did yesterday so I immediately ran the file thru my process. Which failed. Some of the data is wrong. I mentionned this to our eager user, who asked me if I had told the other group. My response?

"Oh yeah! Have I ever been shy about communicating? :-)"

Enough of my emails have cluttered her mailbox for nearly a decade for her to know what I meant. To make sure though, I thought it best to add the smiley face.

I was going to have this entry be about Guilty Pleasures. One of them is 1979's dreadful movie The Black Hole.

To be honest, it is more guilty than it is a pleasure. But it has a John Barry score that I like quite a bit, and it can actually be distinguished from what I've heard of his that he wrote after Somewhere in Time.

My guilty pleasures are, like I said above, what I had originally intended to talk about, but in the process of putting this together, I realized that I must have someone else's guilty pleasure, conceived on Turkey Day in 1954.

Yes, I am the love child of Maximilian Schell!
