My family and I don't keep in touch much at all. They live 3000 miles away and, even if they didn't, we still wouldn't be close. This is to say... When one of my sisters sends me an email out of the blue, and the title of that email is "Mom", you can imagine what I thought it was about.

Turns out that it's been more than a couple of months since I called, and my mom was worrying about her eldest's silence.

Phew!
