I recently finished reading the first 8 issues of Miriam Libicki's autobiographical comic-book, or what happens when, in the summer of 2000, a 19-year-old American Jewish girl decides to join the Israeli military. Apr. 20th, 2011 08:41 amIt's not every day that, because I expressed a sentiment not dissimilar to Oliver Wendell Holmes's comment that taxes are the cost one must pay to maintain civilization (or words to that effect), I (and presumably Ollie) find myself called a Marxist by a flat-taxer. And he didn't mean Zeppo, Harpo, Chico or Groucho.
