embarassment, bushes and casinos
Apr. 23rd, 2011 10:44 pmLater today, I wrote an email to the team and to the appropriate higherups saying that the work situation had originated with a problem with our job flow last night. I could have said that it had been caused by the other guy's solution to that earlier problem. I didn't because the embarassment would only incite him not to take any risk and not to grow. This week I saw our team lead resort to childish criticism and this is an approach I care little about, whether or not I'm on the receiving end.
Once I was done with the cleanup, I had enough time to do quite a bit of yardwork, raking many bags of leaves, uprooting some bushes that the winter's very cold spell had killed, mowing the lawn. Later in the evening, my wife and I watched a very romantic movie, 2006's "Casino Royale".
