Easter started with a few hours of putting plants into what passes for ground in New Mexico, after which my wife went to a restaurant for lunch. Then it was back to yardwork, this time the trimming down of our many birds of paradise. They'd been doing fine, until this last winter's extreme cold spell killed most of them. It'll be some time before they look like this again.

That was a lengthy process that resulted in a rather large heap of dead wood to take to the dump tomorrow, and in my being rather fatigued. A bit of dozing later, we went to someone else's place where we watched the 2nd episode of "Game of Thrones", which I liked quite a bit, more than I did the original installment.
With everything that happened today, I never had the chance to watch one of my favorite movies.
