"Petty Treason"
Aug. 6th, 2011 08:34 amLast night was the local SF club's meeting and some of us usually go out for a bite after it's over. I had to pass though, due to my having been up since 3:15am. Still, when I got home, I didn't go straight to bed. I decided I'd stay up until I had finished Madeleine Robins's Regency mystery "Petty Treason". All I can say is that I'm looking forward to "Point of Honour", her second novel about Sarah Tolerance, a woman who, after being socially ruined, turned to detective work to stay alive - and who's quite handy with the sword.
I understand that the author will have a 3rd "Sarah" novel out in October.
Hurrah!
