no Portrait nor a Fountain

I've been awake since 4am yesterday, and spent most of it working, but my day was made when I asked a much younger co-worker if she knew how old I am, and she guessed 47 - which is almost one decade less than my actual age.

Dear diary... I just watched - and enjoyed - a Francis Ford Coppola SF movie I had not seen since it was made 40 years. I then ate a yummy burrito. I just brewed myself another cup of coffee so I guess I'll now resume reading the wonderful fantasy novel that a very dear friend had given me. Life is good.

We just finished watching 2000's "X-men" and, in my opinion anyway, it remains the best in the whole series, including its offshoots, and remains one of the best comics-inspired movies ever made, introducing us to a Reality likes ours and yet unlike, all this in its first 20 minutes.
