a visit from the North Pole

My friend Tania Clucas, who normally lives near the town of North Pole, Alaska, is in Albuqueque so we had dinner at the India Palace. For some reason, the North Pole area has many Thai restaurants, but nothing Indian. It was a wonderful time, all too short. The last time we'd met was at the Denver worldcon in 2008, when we both participated in the masquerade presentation "Interplanet Janet" put together by Susan de Guardiola. (Tania says "Hi!", Susan.) Hopefully our next encounter will happen before 2016.
