it's *his* Underwater City

Captain Nemo has rather garish tastes, Sue suggested last night while we watched the first 48 minutes of 1969's "Captain Nemo and the Underwater City". Heck, it's *his* underwater city, he can decorate it with as much gold as he wants. Besides, who'd dare disagree with Captain Nemo, especially when he's played by Robert Ryan? Speaking of whom, Sue then made a comment about his appearance, which triggered an exchange than approximately went like this.

"He looks so old. He must be 70."
"He's 60."
"No, he's not."
"Yes, he is. That's only two years older than I am."
"Oops... You don't look that old."
"I hope not."
"By the way, your shoulders are much broader than Chuck Connors's."

I guess that last bit about Ryan's co-star was to further make up for her faux pas.
