worldcon volunteers

It is my understanding that, last week, the organizers of the upcoming worldcon were bemoaning the lack of volunteers. That's rather strange. A friend and I both volunteered months ago and neither of us ever heard a single thing back.

Hm, yeah -- volunteers have a distressing habit of falling through the cracks in big things... I haven't managed to get my brain far enough away from the drive-sleep-work (Er, not in that order, mostly) cycle I'm stuck in now to actually get to the point of volunteering, either.

Even if you don't manage to fill out the form on the website, if you want to volunteer at-con and ask the nice folks at the Info desk or Registration they'll be able to tell you where to go.
