I got my first-ever pair of computer glasses yesterday. I had had my eyes (if not my head) examined a week ago, and even though it had been 3 years since my last visit, my eyesight has barely changed so there's no need to replace my progressives. When I mentionned to the optometrist that I tend to tilt my head back because, when I look thru the bottom part of my glasses, the computer screen's image is sharper, he recommended the computer glasses. Everything is very blurry when I look beyond arms-length, but, if it helps with the headaches I sometimes get from long days at the office, heck, I can live with that. As long as I don't drive with that.

When I watch TV news while at the computer (like now), I usually wear the computer glasses. I get vague shapes of things and all the words and that's a lot better than trying to roll my head down my back.

No kidding. Thanks again for your earlier recommendation to get such glasses.

Never heard of such a thing. Huh.

I guess it was bound to happen, considering how many people now look at computer screens.

Really just a variation of reading glasses. And after having it recommended by a number of fans, I got mine at Zenni Optical. Be sure to read "How to order" in the left sidebar. I got high-prescription progressives, computer glasses, and two pair of reading glasses for just under $80 total.
