Just when I thought the Skiffy Channel couldn't get any weirder... Or lamer...

On Saturday, I caught the ad for next week's latest Cinéma outing. It's called "Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus". I liked the scene where a big commercial plane's passenger looks out the window and sees the shark jump out of the ocean and straight at him.

I'm kinda hoping it's going to be one of those 'So bad it's good' movies :)

I didn't realize you were the foolish-optimist type. :-)

It just comes naturally. Well, okay, I had to work on the optimist part ;)

To be fair... Sometimes they come up with movies that are silly, but fun. For example, there was George and the Dragon, in which the princess is not interested in being rescued from the dragon. In fact, she keeps bopping George on the head every time he tries to destroy the dragon's egg.

Surely, with a mega-shark and giant octopus, even SyFy can't screw this up. Can they?

Darn. there goes that optimism again :(

Perhaps they also need an equally large boa.

Of course. That way they could draw in the Snakes On A Plane fans. All that's missing is a giant spider: maybe somebody smuggled a pineapple in their luggage, and it contained some spider egg that is mutated by the x-ray machines that scan luggage and, before you know it... I wonder if there's a way we could fit a dragon into the plot.
