off to the Bay Area

Tomorrow, I'm off to the Bay Area, where I'll spend the whole week. I haven't seen the team I work with since late February and I thought it was time to fix that. For one thing, my new boss and I haven't yet met. Hopefully I'll become a real person to him, and hopefully (in spite of the so-so way our long-distance working relationship has been) he'll become someone I can trust.

If he doesn't, well, it'll have been the chance for me to meet my in-laws and friends.

I'd say I hope the Giants make it to the playoffs so you could see a game while there, but my innate hatred of that team precludes it.

Good luck (which I'm sure you don't need). Your smiling face and punning propensities will undoubtedly serve you well.
