the payoff from sit-ups

sergebroomI'm cautiously optimistic about the new boss although we didn't sit down for a private talk - partly because I didn't try to. I was busy figuring out a computer problem. In fact I had been at it since last Thursday. In desperation, I talked to some of my fellow programmers. Someone pointed out that the problem had occurred on Labor day, when none of our jobs were supposed to run. That made my user say something that had me go "Ahah!"
The new building where my co-workers now are has something weird about it, in that nobody can navigate outside of our employer's intranet. If you don't see me much around the blogsphere this week, that's why.
On the plus side about the building... A woman I had not seen in a couple of years has also moved to those premises, and she said something to the effect that I obviously haven't stopped doing all those sit-ups at the gym.
