a sign of too many hours

A sign that you have been working too many days of too many hours is when you sit at your computer and it takes you a few moments to realize that the cursor isn't going anywhere because it's your cell phone you're moving around the desk.

Ooh, I hate when that happens.

Better that, I guess, than trying to make a call using my mouse.

Yes. After all, mouse-to-mouse is applicable only when doing CPR.

CPR, where 'R' stands for 'rat'?

Once I tried to mouse over to the paper calendar on my wall to enter an appointment.

I hope you can get outside soon and enjoy some fall weather.

Thanks. The project's drop-dead date is October 23, which means all issues have to be found and cleaned up by October 21, so, yes, I will soon get to enjoy non-corporate pastimes. I just wish it'd happen sooner.

As for myself, I sometimes find myself wanting to mouse over some printed text with my eyes so that I can paste it into a computer document, then I remember that the technology isn't there yet.

Lol, at least if it rings you won't hold the mouse to your ear :)

What would be scary is if I used my mouse as a phone and somebody picks up at the other end.

Hello, you have reached the desk of Obie. I'm not paying attention to this part of my drives right now, but if you'll leave a message, I'll return your call as soon as I can. Don't worry; I already have your name and number.

LOL Oh dear. That is definitely a problem.
