gathering by the Gate

Anybody interested in meeting in the Bay Area, on December 20, or on December 19? Oakland's Pacific Coast Brewing Company can be a bit noisy, but it's within a few blocks of BART's 12th Street Station. Mind you, if you know of another place that would be ok with others, do let me know. A good time is usually had, in spite of what this photo from our last such gathering might lead you to think.

True, but, considering how many bad Things have come thru that Gate, it's more likely to scare people into saying "No thanks" to my invitation. The image of a blue-furred mutant enjoying a cup of coffee by the Golden Gate is a much better selling point.
