on the fringe

We've been going thru our DVR's queue of Fringe's 2nd season. Last night we watched episode "What Lies Below", in which Peter got to take his shirt off. My wife said that, while he has a longer waist than yours truly does, his build and mine are quite similar.

 

She hastened to add that I have more muscle than he does.
Hopefully she meant it.

I cannot properly assess his forearms beneath the sweater, but I'm guessing that yours are, in fact, more strongly muscled. Also guessing that the rest is similar, just from proportions.

Ah well. If he keeps lifting weights for the next fifteen years...

That being said, I didn't mind my wife's making a comparison. In fact, I welcome those because I'm always curious to see how different my self-image (which used to be along the lines of of skinny scarecrows) is from the reality.
