"Centurion"...
Coming out in April, in Great Britain.
Possibly coming out in America this summer.

I'm looking forward to that. Of course you may be inclined to dismiss my opinion. After all, I also enjoyed Antoine Fuqua's "King Arthur", which starred Clive Owen, Ioan Gruffud and Keira Knightley..

Well, yeah, but Keira Knightley and secondarily Clive Owen make that a reasonable thing to enjoy.

I couldn't agree more. Especially the part about Miss Knightly.

Looks quite good. I'm a sucker for any type of historical drama, and anything that depicts pagan (yay!) Britain is welcome to this Scots-Canadian son of the Motherland ...

Interesting how chic Roman stories have become in film and TV of late.
(Spartacus, Gladiator, Centurion, Boudicca [2010]). Wonder what the allure is?

I don't know what the overall allure is, but I've always liked those historical movies. And my wife especially enjoys stories set in Roman Britain. She made quite a few "Ooooooh" sounds when I showed this to her.

It's set too late for Boudica, but she is the first thing I thought of when I saw her.

Not only that, but it didn't feel it was necessary to look like Frank Miller's "300". Thank goodness.

It does look good. Was Roman armor really that advanced that far back?

I think they had the basic design figured quite early on, but you'd have to ask a person far more knowledgeable than I am.
