I haven't seen that film. (Oddly, this morning I caught a bit of 'The Circus' with Charlie Chaplin.)

Currently, it seems that we have to jump through all sorts of inflexible hoops. Things could *only* be done at times that are completely inconvenient. It took hours of negotiating to get things set right.
