a ladies's salon, but no Lovecraft

I was up late last night, scrubbing the kitchen floor's grouting. With Sue's knee-replacement surgery, there's no way I was going to let her do that. Besides, there was plenty to do this morning for us to finish cleaning up the house, and even then things almost weren't ready when the members of her ladies's group started showing up. Once they did, I was off to the bookstore, where I had hoped to find Datlow's anthology "Lovecraft Unbound" because Elizabeth Hand has a story with the same Lovecraft-in-space setting as her "Bojum". No luck. The trip wasn't a total loss because I bought the present Sue will give me on my birthday. It's a Nook. I have to tinker a bit with it to make sure it will work when she officially hands it over to me, weeks from now.
