the preferred half

Yesterday at supper time, Sue called in for a pizza. She ordered an extra large with pepper all over it, and sausage on one half. The following exchange ensued:

"On which half do you want the sausage?"
"What do you mean?"
"Do you want it on the right half or the left half?"

Of course, after I picked up the pizza, non-euclidian geometry had warped it around and we couldn't tell which half was right and which was left.

That's probably why we had 3 slices left.

Mind you, an excess of cheese and/or tomato sauce may result in the sausage being trapped inside the non-euclidian middle half.
