55 years + one day
Sep. 10th, 2010 07:38 amYesterday was my 55th birthday.
I mention this only because I wanted to once again thank people for their best wishes. I also want to thank my mother-in-law for that poem she wrote for me...
...and my wife, Susan Krinard, for the Nook...

...and friend Julia Myers for something that completely surprised me because I have no idea how she figured out I had been thinking of getting this...

Thanks, all of you!

Date: Sep. 10th, 2010 07:45 pm (UTC)There are people who swear by the Kindle rather than at it. I stayed away from it, partly because I'm not too keen on helping expand Amazon's monopoly. Also, my research indicated that the Nook is a better machine, having learned from the Kindle's mistakes. As for Sony's machine, I haven't heard much about it.
By the way, I'm happy to say that the PDF of your novel "The Native Star" now resides inside my Nook.
