I wish this were a joke, but it's for real. Someone offers for sale a toaster that will imprint the face of Jesus on bread. He...

"...believes these toasters will make a great hit during the holidays and has plans to make a Virgin Mary and Star of David version to compliment the Jesus toaster. When asked about the choice of putting Jesus on bread, Divley commented that it was simply good public relations for God..."

I don't know about you, but the whole thing strikes me as a wee bit tacky and disrespectful.

You mean that there are people who sell such things on eBay as truly miraculous? They ought to be ashamed. Hopefully their sales will literally dry up, but I doubt it.

I think you can buy things that press into bread before you toast them for much cheaper. Stampers!. It took me about five minutes to remember the name.
