bereft of tasks

At the beginning of this long weekend, I had made a list of the many things I needed to do for myself, and none of them for my employer. It was fairly lengthy, but I took care of the last item - updating our check book's balance - this morning. I am now bereft of tasks. I guess I'll have to do some reading and writing.

What a horrible situation...

Of course the 'end' of my task list is an artificial construct as I expect that, within the next few days, new items will be added to the until-then dormant list.
