We're back home.

It was a long drive from the Bay Area, but things went well. As expected for the day after Christmas, there was more traffic along I-5 than usual, but not as bad as in previous years. The wreather cooperated too. We made good time and in fact arrived here early enough last night that, when I saw amidst our stack of mail a notice from the Post Office to the effect that they had a package for me, I got there 10 minutes before they closed and, as I had hoped, it was the French graphic novels that I had bought thru Lunacy Gal. The mail heap also included the biography of actor Robert Ryan that my wife had bought me thru Alibris, AND the steampunk movie "Les Aventures Extraordinaires d'Adèle Blanc-sec" that dear friend Abi had gotten me. Christmas gifts after Christmas! Yay! Thank, all!

Some cultures bring presents during the Christmas season (the twelve days of Christmas), so you're not greedy, just being culturally-appropriate..;-)

"I'm not greedy, just being culturally-appropriate" sounds like a great t-shirt.

I told Santa how nice to me you'd been.
I hope he left you something for your kindness.
