worse than his, better than that
Mar. 11th, 2007 06:25 amI saw the movie "300" last night. It was worse than I expected, but better than the time I slammed my car's door on my finger tip. And better than Highlander 2.

Date: Mar. 12th, 2007 02:37 pm (UTC)I could have dealt with the larger-than-life stuff. Heck, I read comics, don't I? But their idea of larger-than-life acting was to grit their teeth and shout every line of dialog. Maybe they should have taken a close look at how that was done in Lord of the Ring.
It was, to put it mildly, a piece of crap.

Speaking of, I've been watching the first season of Epitafios, a subtitled HBO show with Julio Chavez and Antonio Birabent, about a killer being chased by the cops. It's pretty darn good, like most HBO shows.
Ok, that was totally unrelated to 300... I'm just offering some recommended watching.
