binding instead of bingeing

I later concluded that a stiff drink might not be a good idea since a thimble-sized one is enough to leave me with a headache the day after. (Some French-Canadian I turn out to be, eh?) Instead, I decided on the next best guaranteed-to-cheer-me-up thing: I went to Alibris and bought a bunch of books.

I'll now go eat some cheese.

a nice glass of wine. I cannot handle hard liquor any more either. I can manage a bloody mary or something like that at a bar. but one is the limit or I'll feel it later.

I do like rum & coke, but here too I quickly reach my limit. I wish I had thought of opening a bottle of wine. Now it's too late and I'll soon be going to bed.
