Like I told someone else earlier, today was one of those days when I hate who I am even though I was justified in being pissed. Having people dump dump someone else's mess in my lap and saying it's urgent and not caring that I work 7 hours straight without any food, and they wind up not even reading the results of my research, that tends to bring out Bruce Banner's alter ego out of me. The only thing that probably is keeping them from firing me is that I am the only person who understands our computer system.

What a bummer! The old phrase comes to mind: "Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on mine". I hope it gets better...

Calling this 'poor planning' doesn't even begin to describe it. Work on this was begun by an incompetent contractor, who was then let go, and development was continued and completed by a smarter person who the left so the final implementation was left to two people who have no idea how this was tested, or how this could have been tested successully.

I hope so becuse I'm gettin too old for this garbage. At leat my new boss hasn't yet said "Family comes first", which really means "Family comes first - right after work".
