"I'm a genius, not an engineer."

So says Jeremy Irons's Aramis to John Malkovich's Athos in 1997's The Man in the Iron Mask after Aramis's precautions to foil any suicide attempt by Gérard Depardieu's Porthos result in the whole barn collapsing on the latter.

Now that's a funny line.

I skipped the movie when it first came out, due to my not being a big fan of Leonardo di Caprio, a decision I regretted, because it's quite good, being about the Musketeers (*) now older and having to face the results of bad decisions made long ago.

(*) With Gabriel Byrne as d'Artagnan.

I don't think I've seen it. I recall a French film, about the Musketeers, now older and with grown children (at least d'Artagnan has a daughter) having to rescue a young Louis XIV.

That might have been one with Philippe Noiret as d'Artagnan. The one with Byrne and Irons is much better, in my humble opinion. (Reall, it IS humble.)
