Captain: And I'm never, never sick at sea!
Chorus: What, never?
Captain: No, never!
Chorus: What, never?
Captain: Hardly ever!

For reasons that are obvious, I often call Cagney and Nahla the Blondsters. A couple of weeks ago, Jonathan Carroll, columnist at the San Francisco Chronicle was talking about skeletons in the closet and mentionned that, in all the History of Cinema, the last time a movie had been made with that title was in 1913. That wasn't quite true. One was made in 2001. Still, it does seem like there should have been more skeletons in the closet. Or maybe out of it. ("Darling, I have to confess. Inside of me there hides a skeleton.")

That being said, no movie was ever made titled The Blondster (or variations thereof). Not a single cheesy 1950s drive-in opus. No movie exists about a blonde lady who is scared that, with time, her beauty will fade away. In desperation, she takes some untested treatments that make her even more attractive than before. But at night her lovers discover that she becomes... The Blondster!

Hmm. It sounds as if you are destined to write it.

I seem to remember an old 1950s movie where some woman, quite the Queen Bee at the office, decided to fight the ravages of Time by taking some bee-based rejuvenation treatment. You can guess what she soon turned into.

Is Russ Meyer still alive? Maybe he could direct Pamela Anderson in this putative box-office hit.

I like it. Just think what someone could do with her "sting" and "honey".

Meyer passed away in 2004, but I'm sure there are people out there who have the necessary.. ah... talents. As for Pamela Anderson, how could she top Barb Wire?
