Tonight, I dropped by Barnes & Noble to see if there'd be something that'd say "Buy me!" There was - the DVD of 1961's "Mysterious Island" for $9.99. Also, much to my pleasure, I saw that 2012's edition of the World Almanach was already available so I grabbed it. This is a tradition I began in 1994. I was going thru the process to become an American citizen and I wanted to read the Constitution so I went to the nearby Tower (yet another bookstore chain that is no more) and one of the employees recommended the World Almanach. Since then, every year I buy their latest and add it the tomes on my office's bookshelves.
