socks and the Universe

I again woke up at 3:30am. No dishes to do this time. Instead, before going to the gym for another ungodlily-scheduled workout, I folded some laundry. As I went thru the basket's contents, I came across four instances where the two elements of a pair of socks were lying next to each other instead of one being on top of the heap and the other at the very bottom. Maybe the Universe is trying to tell me something.
