After much effort, after much finger-bruising, my latest landscaping project is complete as of yesterday. I can now relax. For a few days anyway.

It certainly made up for my not going to the gym for nearly a month. Anyway, I have this feeling that you'd be better at building brick walls than I'd be at curtains. I can mend socks, and sew buttons, but that's as far as it goes in spite of my mom being a great seamstress.

Can you use a sewing machine at all? If you can, you can make curtains. Curtains are easy.

Never did. I guess the acquisition of skills in our family followed the traditional pattern, with me handling the power tools of my dad. On the other hand, I never could get the hang of his work as a mechanic.
