I just came back from turning everything in to our tax consultant. I'd been planning to get everything ready last night. By 1:00am though, I noticed that some of the amounts weren't adding up, no matter how often I went thru the numbers so I decided to call it quits and went to sleep - eventually. Four hours and one cup of coffee later, I resumed work on this and my by-then rested brain finally saw what the issue had been. I went to my bank's nearby branch to confirm that we hadn't received a form from them because we had accumulated less than the minimum interest in each account - $9.44 in one account, $2.63 in the other. By the time I had gotten everything wrapped up neatly, I still had three hours left before the appointment with our tax consultant so I watched Duane & Morwood's "The Curse of the Ring", and I enjoyed it greatly - my favorite line is what opens this post. I guess I'll now do a bit more work on my résumé.
