sergebroomWe watched JJ Abrams's "Super 8" and it was OK although I'm not sure why it was set in the late 1970s because the Super 8 element wasn't essential to the plot. The writing started falling apart in the second half, but it didn't leave me greatly irritated the way Abrams's "Star Trek" did.
