to the Bay, and Ben goes boom
Jun. 8th, 2007 03:31 pmI'll be working at the San Francisco office the week of July 16. My manager was a bit insistent about that today, and about my showing up every few months, bit it's not like I need much convincing to go to the Most Beautiful Place on Earth. (Not to be confused with the Happiest Place on Earth, which is DisneyLand, a few hundred miles to the south.) Mind you, my manager, in spite of her insistence, said nothing about reimbursing me for the ticket's cost. Who knows? Maybe she'll surprise me.
Besides that, I must have been more tired than I thought when I had my supper at 10pm yesterday. Note to self: when putting a bag of Uncle Ben's instant rice in the microwave oven, remember to first make a small tear near the top of the bag.
The mess following the explosion could have been worse.
