Until recently, my PayPal account was tied to our savings account, what with Sue already having lined hers up with our checking account. That was OK, except that the savings account has a limit where I’d get dinged if I made more than six withdrawals. The amounts don’t matter, but the numbers do. Go figure. I got tired of this so not long ago I went to my bank and opened a second checking account. I was quite amused by the first name on the badge of the young man who helped me, but I behaved and kept that amusement to myself. When we were done and he gave me his business card, I found that his badge’s name was an abbreviation of his real first name. What does it say about the current climate of the country that ‘Mohammed’ is considered less safe than going around as ‘Moe’, one of the Three Stooges?
