I have anonymous posting disabled on my LJ. It seriously cuts down on the number of trolls, because they have to actually get an account to pester me -- and once they have an account, I can ban them!

I turned on the partial anonymous ban because, last week, I received one email with random letters in its title and in the post itself. I thought of going for an outright ban, but that'd keep out my non-LJ buddies and buddettes. As for spam, amazingly enough, it hasn't been a problem much. I loved the feeling of Power when I marked one LJ spammer as persona non grata.
