Almost halfway thru September and I have yet to reveal what treasure my calendar had for this month. Or for last month, which features yet another gent wearing a fishbowl helmet while his girlfriend is doing without, as she’s being chased by an octopus, possibly for purposes of an amorous nature, but most likely nutritional. September’s art – taken from 1948’s “Startling Stories” - features no human male, but there is the obligatory lady, sporting a funny chapeau, and garbed in sheer silk, while a blue flamingo looks away.
