the silver lining of black boxes
Sep. 11th, 2012 10:14 pmSue turned in a novel today so tonight we went to El Patron for that delayed celebration of my birthday.
As for my own work... Today I found that, even after explaining again and again over the last few weeks why one of my recently-completed projects could safely be implemented ahead of schedule, my work still remains a scary black box to the grand poobah and everybody else up the totem pole. I gave up. On the bright side, that frees up the evening of September 21, which means I can attend the local SF club's monthly meeting.
Thus can one find some silver lining even in a black box.
