I just finished reading Mary Robinette Kowal’s “Valour and Vanity”, her 4th novel about Regency glamourists Jane & David Vincent. This one has nuns, nun impersonation, crossdressing, a Mediteranean cruise interrupted by pirates, concussion, a con that leaves them financially stranded near Venice, Lord Byron swimming naked in the canals, a chase on gondolas, and the sweet taste of revenge.

The book won’t be out until 2014, and will probably be slightly different from what the author just finished posting in installments on her site, but you’ll enjoy.
