So said the young co-worker I was helping monitor our system’s processing this weekend. Please note that she was *praising* me. Our database has been experiencing quite a few performance issues these last few months and I had expressed some displeasure with the less-than-speedy response and less-than-correct solutions of the corporation’s oncall database administrators. I guess those expressions of displeasure have gotten me a reputation that may not be enviable, but which gets things resolved quickly.
