What happens when the driver ahead of you goes thru an intersection two seconds after the light has turned red and a driver coming from the opposite direction makes a left turn at the same time AND neither of them paid attention to anybody else?

I'm sure the person on the other street who was waiting for her turn to go thru the intersection was happy when one of the two rebounding cars smashed into hers.
