My parents-in-law are flying in on Tuesday. I... Cleaned the fridge, then the microwave oven, then the coffeemaker. Tossed out the patio's dead plants, then swept away the ash tree's dead leaves accumulated in its corners. Cleaned each and every slat of the dining nook's window. Cleaned each and every slat of the kitchen's window. Dropped newspapers and stuff at the recycling center on the way to the grocery store. Scrubbed the tub. Changed the kitty litter. Took the dry laundry into our bedroom. Moved the wet laundry from the washer to the dryer.

I think I'll call it a day and do some reading while Sue's doing some writing.
