earthquake?

I think there was a slight tremor a few minutes ago, at 4:42amPT. If not that, then I wonder what slightly shook things around me. No car, no truck rumbling by.

A quiver of excitement welcoming you home?

When I heard the news on the radio this morning, I wondered if you were ok. Then they said it was only a 4.2, so I figured you probably were.

Thanks for your concern. This quake really was mild, at least in Concord, which is further inland than Oakland where the epicenter was. I understand that, over there, some things fell out of cupboards, but that's nothing compared to having part of the Bay Bridge's top deck collapse on its lower deck as happened in 1989.
