With Part One of (what's the latest number?) of "The Hobbit" about to land in theaters real soon now, I find myself thinking back to my Toronto years. In 1988, we were living at the very east end of Queen Street, one block from the water filtration plant that has been the lair of many an evil TV-show organization, but I digress. Not too far, at the other end of the Lake's boardwalk, there was a marina, where I once spotted a boat named "Theoden".
