Clark Kent may be able to get away with wearing glasses, but it is very hard for us Kryptonian supervillains to be taken seriously when we do. The solution? Evil-looking goggles. While at it, I decided I'd change my wardrobe's style, avoiding silly capes while conveying their look and feel.

Ooh, you look seriously spiffy. I am so adopting you as my Evil Genius mentor (Why should only the "good" guys get to have father figure types who take the place of their real parents and nurture them and eventually pull a Dumbledore on them?) .

Bwahahahah!!!!

Actually, in the recent comics, Zod and his girlfriend Ursa have a 10-year-old son who rebelled against his dad and is now fighting alongside Superman. Today's kids. Bah!

Sartorially splendid!

Very nice, looks warm, and I bet it has good pockets. I should go to the shop and pick up some comics. I wonder if I still get the former employee discount...hmm...

I'm not sure about the boots, but I do like the rest.

There is some neat stuff being done these days. One of the comics has an ongoing plotline where Superman is shown a vision of humanity being destroyed because of his very presence on Earth.

And there was a nice exchange between Clark and Martha Kent about religion and morality. (See my June 8 entry at
